It's me again! MARTIIIIN!

"BRIDGE OF BIRDS"
by Barry Hughart (sorry I didn't write it in the quiz, I just had forgotten it :/please don't take points)
278 pages
Fantasy again^^

The most main characters are Master Li and Number 10 Ox. The book is set in a fantasy world of China. Hughart calls it "A Novel of an Ancient China That Never Was". One day, suddenly all the kids in the village called Ku-fu. Number 10 Ox is sent to Peking to search for a sage to help him cure the kids. He finds Li Kao, an ancient scholar with a "slight flaw in his character", and when Master Li returns with Number Ten Ox to the village he swiftly discoversthat the problem is not plague. It's poison. The only hope for the children is in the healing strength of a legendary ginseng plant called the Great Root of Power. But to find it, they must travel across China, get through mazes million years old, face blood and gore, fight monsters, a terrible and immortal khan and much more. Before they can find the Great Root of Power, they must find something that had been stollen from heaven a thousand years ago. The whole book is filled with adventure, fun, horror, kills. Let's just say there's a little or sometimes more from everything (yes, even some love). The book is the first from a triology (which I have read backwards) and it's really good. It's perfect for adventure-loving people. It gave me a very pleasant experience while reading it. The only problem is, that it's hard to fing, but you can get it from the internet.
